Love, Truth, and Mercy

I will listen [with expectancy] to what God the Lord will say, for He will speak peace to His people, to His saints (those who are in right standing with Him)—PS.85:8 (AMPC)

Neeter's Notes and Quotes

“Love and Truth meet in the street,
Right Living and Whole Living embrace and kiss!”
PSALM 85:10 (MSG)

The LORD says: (WOE, 14-0616)

I want others to KNOW MY LOVE in these times –hard times– oppressing times.
Sense My love, KNOWING My love will encourage you to speak Words of Truth.
My Love and Truth make a way– clear the fog. ‘Mercy & Truth’ is My message for this hour.
Speak it out,
“Mercy! Truth!”
Presence–Love–Truth…
Presence–Love–Truth…
Presence–Love–Truth and repeat!
Soak it in/Squeeze it out.
Soak it in/Squeeze it out.
Soak it in/Squeeze it out.
It’s that simple.

Deep Calls to Deep

Greater is HE who is IN YOU than he that is in the world…
—1 John 4:4

That “greater is He” verse has almost become just another cliché among believers, but let us remember that every Word of God is alive1 and accomplishes His purposes2. Recently, Holy Spirit put a loved one*on my heart, the burden to pray would not leave and intensified until I could do nothing put begin lifting that person up to The LORD in prayerful lamentation. During the praying process, I recognized a few passages of scripture being spoken; I will include them towards the end of this writing. But first, I will share a conclusion of the prayer session. Holy Spirit’s beautiful reminder of Truth— His Words of Encouragement to bless3 any ‘ear’ who can hear3 with heartfelt intentions1 to please The LORD. So, it is my prayer that every reader be blessed by Holy Spirit’s response:

Greater is He who is IN YOU giving you daily strength as you reach deep within. It is true “Deep calls to deep” and visa versa. The Word tells you that you can do all things that He has called you to do. You must believe that, but first you must also remember what He has called you to do.
The praise upon your lips gives you courage to your ears; that courage affects your feet to march on your path; it is set for you.  Remember, it is HE, not you, who gives the ability. So, trust put your trust in Him, not yourself. Victory belongs to those who SAY:

“TheLORD is MY SHELTER and MY STRONGHOLD. I trust MY GOD; He alone rescues ME from evil traps set for my destruction. He even sends His angels to help me; they lift my hands when my arms are I am weary and steady my feet when I begin to trip.” 4

His love envelopes you, feel His embrace.  As long as you breathe, His plans for you are designed and are in motion, ever going forward, not back—Look ahead, keeping your eyesight towards what is!
—WOE (2017-0329)

DeepCallsToDeep-WatchListen-724x408-408The “Deep calls to deep “reference is found in Psalm 42, verse 7. Although the context of the verse seems somewhat negative, describing doom when the waters “crash” against you, the spiritual meaning is nothing but the opposite. The rest of the passage gives promise of God’s ever presence to those whose soul “thirsts” for God “as the deer pants for water” (v.1-2). Perhaps a personal story of similar circumstance can further define this meaning. Once while in a praise and worship service, I heard TheLORD suggest I “walk out into deeper waters”. Seeing a visual image of what He was asking, my response was, “But, LORD, I will drown!”
I heard Him say, “Yes, exactly!”  It was then that I had an “Aha!” moment—Deep was calling deep! His request was drawing me even closer to Him, to breathe in His goodness so that I could live more fully! It’s only in our dying to self that we truly live.

My soul is dry and thirsts for You, True God, as a deer thirsts for water. I long for the True God who lives. When can I stand before Him and feel His comfort? Right now I’m overwhelmed by my sorrow and pain; I can’t stop feasting on my tears… In the roar of Your waterfalls, ancient depths surge, calling out to the deep. All Your waves break over me; am I drowning? Yet in the light of day, the Eternal shows me His love. When night settles in and all is dark, He keeps me company—His soothing song, a prayerful melody to the True God of my life… Despite all my emotions, I will believe and praise the One who saves me, my God.
[Psalm 42 (VOICE): 1-3, 7-8, 11]

While researching on Biblegateway.com I found an interesting commentary in The Voice Bible about the second grouping of psalms (Psalms 42–72): ”… in referring to God (it) shows a preference for the word “God” … that appears as “YHWH” in the Hebrew Scriptures. …As the translation suggests, the divine name (God) implies that the one True God transcends time and yet He is “with” His people.”

The phrase praise upon your lips gives you courage to your ears refers to the Truth of “faith comes by hearing” spoken by Paul in his letter to the church in Rome (10:17). This verse speaks of “rhema”, a Word spoken to address a certain circumstance or for a specific purpose. When our faith arises it certainly can give us the courage to persevere because his Word is like “a lamp unto our feet” 5.  In the same chapter of the letter (v. 8), Paul quotes from the book of Deuteronomy (30:14) to emphasize that faith speaks what it believes: “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”.  The Voice Bible commentary for this passage states, “Faith is not something we do. It is a response to what God has done already on our behalf, the response of a spirit restless in a fragmented world.” So, we hear His Word and speak it when we believe. In turn, hearing it repeated, allows our faith to take courage in its truths!

THE REASON SOME PEOPLE DON’T EXPERIENCE MORE OF THE PRESENCE OF GOD

Read the Word of Encouragement (WOE) that TheLORD told Bert Farias about how compassion moves Him… It is my hope that reading this reblog of The Flaming Herald blesses & encourages you as much as it has me. ~ag (aka. Neeter)
BERT FARIAS: “During an extended time of prayer and fasting I received this word from the Lord that changed my life.”
THE WOE:  “I do a work in you of pure religion. I do a work in you to place you among My captains. I do a work of love in you. I do a work of sensitivity to My heart in you.
“Behold My heart as I was moved with compassion for the widow at Nain whose son had just died. Behold My heart as I picked up the little children and blessed them. Behold My heart as I called and healed the blind beggars.
“I do a work in you to increase the fruit of your compassion. I do a work in you to increase true ministry. I do a work in you to make you more skillful in My anointing. As you’ve heard My servant say, ‘Truth and compassion equal skill in My anointing.’ I speak the truth, but I am moved with compassion.
“Truth does not move Me. Compassion moves Me. I am working both on your speaking and on your compassion, so that your life and your works would be found pure in Him who moves.”
NOTE FROM NEETER: Thanks for reading; Now, go to The Flaming Herald in order to read the blog post in its entirety and be fully blessed!

The Flaming Herald

Once upon a time a struggling missionary was having lunch with a wealthy Christian businessman. The businessman was caught up in all the deals he was doing and money he was making. The missionary was in dire straits financially, but never mentioned his needs, choosing instead to boast in the Lord and what He was doing in his life and ministry overseas. The businessman was insensitive to the needs of the missionary.

A group of successful pastors from large churches were fellowshipping together at a prayer retreat. One very discouraged and troubled pastor in their midst was contemplating quitting the ministry. Nothing seemed to be going right for him. His marriage, family, and finances had gone sour. Hope deferred makes the heart sick so he refrained from all the fun and festivities that the others were engaged in at this function. No one noticed him or paid attention to him…

Problems and Prayers

We need to remember that it is NOT OUR FAITH that brings our prayers to pass; it is God’s faithfulness to answer us if we ask.

Neeter's Notes and Quotes

Today, my thoughts are turned towards “FAITH”. Lack of faith is not a problem. Jesus said we only need mustard seed-sized faith, and He provides each of us with a measure! Therefore, we can confidently say that we do not have a FAITH PROBLEM in the Body of Christ.

When there is a problem concerning our faith, our problem is with relationship and memory! We need to remember that it is NOT OUR FAITH that brings our prayers to pass; it is God’s faithfulness to answer us if we ask. We simply need to remember to ask, believing He will do it when we ask. We have a relationship problem with The One who answers when we “ask amiss” ~with wrong motives or unsure of His will, praying not knowing Him well enough to know what He “wills” to do.

“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God.

Serve TheLORD with Fear, Rejoice with Trembling

Serve theLord with fear
and celebrate his rule with trembling.
–Psalm 2:11,  NIV

“STOP! Be still… Enter gates with thanksgiving… courts with praise.. altar with offerings… inner sanctuary with reverence… presence with singing…”  Those are the few words I remembered from what was stirring within my spirit as I was awakening this morning. I also remembered a distinct impression of agitation and dissatisfaction about The Church conducting services “as usual”. In fact, “not as usual” was definitely the point of The LORD’s admonishment; He wants usual praise and worship in His houses to “STOP!”  After I settled in my corner to look up scripture passages that contained similar wordings, I got the full Word of Encouragement (WOE) as follows:

“STOP! Cease the noise!
I hear clanging symbols—STOP!
I hear the voices, loud and unharmonizing—STOP!
I hear no songs, just words—STOP!
I hear no music, just notes—STOP!
In coming to see Me:
Enter My gates with thanksgiving and an expectancy to see.
Enter My courts with praise.
Approach My altar with offerings.
Enter My inner sanctuary with reverence.
Approach My presence with singing, in unison.
I will hear your petitions when they are presented at My feet.
The humble may stand in My presence and leave rejoicing.”

Now, I beseech you to take notice of the passages of scripture below; they reinforce today’s WOE. I also encourage you to read Psalm 9; verses 1, 2, and 11 are “right response” to the truth of verses 13-20. Another interesting read is all of Psalm 15 as well as Psalm 20:2, 3; 22: 22-25; 26: 2, 3, 6-8, 12.  Read and be blessed! SELAH!

A personal thought:
Assembling together should not be a ritual,
but a right response to a right relationship
with God Almighty!

Psalm 2
(VOICE)

1-3 You are wondering: What has provoked the nations to embrace anger and chaos? Why are the people making plans to pursue their own vacant and empty greatness? Leaders of nations stand united; rulers put their heads together, plotting against the Eternal One and His Anointed King, trying to figure out. How they can throw off the gentle reign of God’s love, step out from under the restrictions of His claims to advance their own schemes?
4-5 At first, the Power of heaven laughs at their silliness. The Eternal mocks their ignorant selfishness. But His laughter turns to rage, and He rebukes them. As God displays His righteous anger, they begin to know the meaning of fear. He says,
“I am the One
who appointed My king
who reigns from Zion,
My mount of holiness.
He is the one in charge.
7-11 I am telling all of you the truth. I have heard the Eternal’s decree. He said clearly to me, “You are My son. Today I have become your Father…”
FIREY HANDS-Ps2So leaders, kings, and judges,
be wise, and be warned.
There is only one God, the Eternal;
worship Him
with respect and awe;
take delight in Him
and tremble.

12 Bow down before God’s son.
If you don’t, you will face His anger and retribution,
And you won’t stand a chance…
But blessings await all who trust in Him.
They will find God a gentle refuge.

(NIV)
The arrogant cannot stand in your presence…
But I, by your great love, can come into your house;

let them ever sing for joy.…

Proverb 1:7
(AMP)

The [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; But arrogant [a]fools despise [skillful and godly] wisdom and instruction and self-discipline.

AMP Footnotes: Proverbs 1:7 In Proverbs various kinds of fools are discussed including those who are closed-minded, over-confident, and reject instruction and correction—the unteachable; those who lack spiritual insight—the spiritually blind; and those who are flippant, hardened, and who deliberately choose to reject God and wisdom—the arrogant.

DISCLAIMER: I go on record today that currently Honey and I do not have a church home. I will not go into the why of this circumstance at this time, but simply state it so no one will misassume this blog is in any way about a specific congregation. In fact, I hopefully correctly assume the WOE is about a minority within The Church, but also go on record that this WOE is for ALL of The Church! I only report (share) what I hear Holy Spirit say.

Word Of Encouragement for 2016

“The Kingdom is #1 focus for the New Year. From this focus, you will get a new viewpoint and your vision will become clearer. Things (not events) will happen that will change YOU for eternity. Opportunities will arise like you have never encountered before. Places and position are important in Kingdom Business~ keep that in mind in your daily goings and comings. This Word is for every listening ear of the hearts who belong to Me. They only need to listen and hear My instruction. Take the time to be still, but then act. Your obedience will be rewarded and not go unnoticed by those whose hands and eyes are opened by Me to advance my Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven. My Will will be done.”  (16-0102)

show it by doing what I’ve told you….
If you keep my commands,
you’ll remain intimately at home in my love.
That’s what I’ve done–
kept my Father’s commands
and made myself at home in his love.”

Take a Deeper Breath and Live!

Today, I accidently came across a forgotten “WOE” which is not-so-accidentally needed by me today!  The WOE came to me on a Saturday afternoon in July 2013 while (prayerfully) going through AS A TREE GROWS, by W. Phillip Keller. I had reviewed my highlights in the first 3 chapters & read chapter 4 titled, “Heat” about “Love begets love.” Then, as I was about 2 paragraphs into the next chapter, “Air”, which is about Holy Spirit; that is when He began talking to me. This is what I heard: (WOE 13-0713)
Breathe! Breathe in and expand your lungs. Take deep breaths~ on purpose! Purpose yourself to take deep, deeper breaths from My Spirit. My Spirit brings what you need~ He brings My goodness to you. Yes, in life breathing is automatic, but deepness is a choice. Don’t be shallow about breathing in My goodness.
Find My virtue in you. It’s in your deep places where healing takes place. It’s in your deep places where joy is produced. It’s in your deep places where you find self-control. It’s in your deeper places that I become your next breath. Breathe DEEP and My Spirit will do His work. Breathe DEEPER and expand your capacity to LIVE!

Take a Deeper Breath and Live! ~As we “breathe deeper”, it causes an atmosphere of cooperation between Holy Spirit and our hearts; He brings newness of life to our souls!

Take a Deeper Breath and Live! ~As we “breathe deeper”, it causes an atmosphere of cooperation between Holy Spirit and our hearts; He brings newness of life to our souls!

On the same paper, I had jotted down a few personal thoughts as I reflected and assimilated the Word of the day:

  • Holy Spirit brings life to our souls as we meditate (breathe deeper) on what we have received from Him (illuminations/revelation knowledge).
  • As we “breathe deeper”, it causes an atmosphere of cooperation between Holy Spirit and our hearts; He brings newness of life to our souls!
  • When we welcome Holy Spirit into our innermost being, our hearts/souls are changed “faith to faith” and our character becomes HIS character~ like JESUS!
  • We become more like Jesus in our DAILY lives due to the inner character coming forth~ we become more effective in the things He tells us to do.
